A character who changes in the movie is Ricky Baker.
In the start of the movie Ricky meets Bella and Hector. Bella welcomes Ricky to the family and shows Ricky around his new home.
Ricky does not like the place in the start but he gets to know the places so he can call the place home.
Ricky got lost in the bush and Hector went to find him. Hector tripped on tree rot and hurt his ankle. When Paula went to pick up Ricky they were missing. Paula went looking for them but she could not find them so she called a manhunt. There was 1000 dollars up for the offer of the people who found them.The manhunt was on for months.
When they found Ricky and Hector the manhunt was called off and Ricky and Paula found Ricky a new home to the people that Ricky found for help in the middle of the movie. Once Hector got out of jail he went into an old people's home. Ricky meet hector out sitting on a step and they became friends again
