Te Tiriti O Waitangi

Hi and welcome back to my blog.

To day I will be talking to you about Te Tiriti O Waitangi.
Lets get stared.

The Maori population in the late 1830's  was 7000 to 8000.
There were two main reasons for the drop in population which were war and diseases.
The name of the main settlement in Aotearoa, New Zealand at the time was Kara'reka/ Russell.
There were around 500 Rangatira who signed the Treaty of aitangi

Here is a slide that I made about Te Tiriti O Waitangi

You have produced a great blog post explaining Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Your slideshow has descriptive paragraphs and shows that you understand your learning. I like your explanation of why the Maori wanted a treaty.
On your blog you have written that the Maori population was 7,000 - 8,000 but it was actually 70,000 - 80,000 people.
    Keep up the awesome work.
