Lock Down Pikelets

                                                           Lock Down Pikelets

Hi welcome back to my blog today I will be showing you how to make lock down pikelets
Let get into it

1. 1 cup standard flour
2.  1 tsp baking powder
3. 1/4 tsp salt;
4. 1 egg
5 .1/4 cup white sugar
6. 3/4 cup milk approximately

1. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
 2. In another bowl beat the egg and sugar with a whisk until pale and thick.
3. Add the egg mixture and the milk to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
4. Gently heat a non-stick frying pan and drop tablespoonfuls of the mixture from the point of the spoon onto the surface.
 5. When bubbles start to burst on the top of the pikelets, turn them over and cook the second side until golden.
6. Place in a clean tea towel to cool.

That is how you make lock down Pikelets

Thank you for looking at my blog

  1. Hey Hannah it's Hollie.
I love how during lock down you are doing lots of baking. Your steps are very clear and is very easy to follow. But maybe next time you could take a picture of your lock down pikelets. But other from that its a good blog post :)

  2. Hi Hannah
More great work on your blog. I really like thickened cream and strawberry jam on my pikelets - how do you eat yours?
I agree with Hollie - I wish you had included a picture. It looks like you tried at the top of the post but something went wrong. You might also like to add a personal comment at the end of your recipe ... something like "I really love this recipe, especially when I add whipped cream and apricot jam".
Well done keeping your blog up to date.
